Clam Chowder is my family's favorite soup, we go to the clam chowder festival every year in Santa Cruz, CA and taste clam chowders from all over the states. New England Clam Chowder from the restaurant can vary a lot, thicker or thinner, very creamy or less creamy. I developed this clam chowder recipe which my family loves a lot. It has a lot ingredients, bacon, potato, onion, celery, clam, etc. I combined milk and cream to create creamy taste. The Clam Chowder from my recipe is much less creamy compared to restaurants', simply add more cream if you prefer very creamy clam chowder.
