Lobster Pasta with Garlic Butter is super delicious and flavorful. It’s the perfect recipe to make for your next date night or Valentine’s Day. It takes a little longer than other pasta recipes, since you need to process the lobster meat; but it is definitely worth the time to prepare a delicious pasta dinner for the loved one.

Lobster Pasta with Garlic Butter
Preparation Time: 15mins
Cooking Time: 35mins

ingredients

  • Lobster tail: 2,  about 8oz(210g) with shell
  • Pasta: 150g
  • Onion: 150g
  • Garlic: 5cloves
  • Unsalted butter: 30g
  • Shredded parmesan cheese: 2tbsp
  • Salt: 1/2tsp
  • Parsley: a pinch, dried or fresh

Note: pasta from above ingredients can serve 2people.

  • Pre-boil 5cups of water in the pot, add the lobster tails into boiled water.
  • Cook the lobster over medium-low heat for about 15mins.
  • After cooking, rinse the lobster tail with cold water.

  • Cut or tear off the backside of lobster tail using a scissor, cut the lobster meat into bite-size pieces. Set aside.

  • Cook 200g pasta in the same pot for 10-15mins per pasta instructions. Drain the pasta, set aside. Save 5tbsp stock for the sauce.
  • Prepare garlic and onion, cut garlic(5cloves) into pieces and chop onion(150g).
  • Pre-heat the pan over medium heat for 2mins, add 30g butter until melted.
  • Add garlic and onion, stir-fry until the onion becomes soft and slightly brown in color.
  • Add lobster meat and 5tbsp stock, stir well, cook over low heat for 2mins.

  • Add the pasta, mix well.
  • Add 1/2tsp salt, 2tbsp parmesan cheese and a pinch of parsley, mix well.

  • Serve with salad or roasted vegetables, like brussels sprouts.
