Seafood Rotini Pasta with all sorts of seafood, delicious! Rotini pasta is one of my favorite pasta, since the corkscrew shape can help hold sauces well. You can just use any pasta available in your kitchen. For seafood, I used the shrimp and clam which are available in my fridge. Enjoy some seafood pasta with wine on a cozy evening!

Seafood Rotini Pasta with White Creamy Sauce
Preparation Time: 10mins
Cooking Time: 20mins

ingredients

  • Rotini: 200g
  • Broccoli: 150g
  • Mushroom: 100g
  • Shrimp(with shell): 150g
  • Clam(with shell): 150g
  • Half and Half Cream: 3/4cup
  • Garlic butter: 25g(can be replaced with 20g butter and a few cloves garlic)
  • Parmesan Cheese: 2tbsp
  • Salt: 1/2tsp
  • Cooking wine: 1tsp
  • Black pepper(freshly grounded): a pinch
  • Parsley(fresh or dried): a pinch

Note: Pasta with above ingredients can serve for 2 people.

instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients, clean broccoli and mushroom, cut into small pieces; deshell shrimp.

  • Pre-boil 5cups of water in a pot, cook rotini for 10-15mins per instruction. Drain the pasta, set aside.
  • Use the same water to boil broccoli for about 2mins.

  • Pre-heat a pan with medium heat for 2mins, add garlic butter, cook until melted.
  • Add mushroom and shrimp, cook for a few minutes until the shrimp’s color changes into slightly red.

  • Add 1tsp cooking wine, a pinch of freshly grounded black pepper, 3/4 cup half and half cream, and 150g clam; bring to the boil.
  • Add pasta and broccoli, mix well and cook for another 2mins.
  • Add 1/2tsp salt, 2tbsp parmesan cheese and a pinch of parsley, mix well. Ready to serve.
